oaSES-09 Aids FL Provider Monitoring |
|
|
|
All school districts and state-approved SES providers in Florida are required to complete a self-assessment to review the level of compliance with state and federal regulations on an annual basis. In addition, five SES providers are chosen from selected districts to undergo additional compliance monitoring.
For all Florida SES Providers the self evaluation is due in Fall 2008. If you've also been selected for the "Desktop Verification" then that is also scheduled for Fall 2008 with on-site visits planned Winter 2008 through April 2009.
oaSES-09 directly assists providers in this monitoring and compliance process. We specifically address the following areas:
- Compliance Item FIAc-4 - Specifically calculating tutor/student ratios and applies consistent tutoring rates.
- Compliance Item FIAc-5b - Specifically tracking for serving students before 10/15/08, assigned students before 9/25/08 and percentages.
- Compliance Item FIAc-6 - Including SLP goal statements, student session numbers and frequency, attendance recording and more.
- Compliance Item FIAc-7 - Student record confidentiality and on line record keeping.
- Compliance Item FIAc-8 - oaSES-09 stores background check results and tutor qualifications.
- Compliance Item FIAc-10 - Specifically oaSES-09 provides (and stores) progress reports consistent with SLP goals.
