Senior PHP Developer

We are looking for a talented and experienced PHP developer to join our team. The primary job responsibility for this position is to provide PHP, AJAX & Javascript programming for our education-related online applications. Developers are challenged on a daily basis to solve problems in new and creative ways. The ideal candidate would have significant recent PHP experience in a software development team. In addition they should be able to contribute and be a vocal part of our management team as we grow the business.

Requirements
 

• Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or commensurate work experience
• Excellent PHP programming skills with minimum 5 years experience.
• Excellent AJAX and Javascript skills and MySQL experience.
• Commercial experience in Web Application development and / or software development is ESSENTIAL.
• Experience of object oriented programming (OOP) / modular programming is essential. Delphi for PHP is desirable.
• Ability to translate business requirements into system design, testing and delivery is essential.
• Exceptional communication -- both written and verbal.
• Ability to partner and work in a high pressure production, collaborative environment.
• Strong debugging skills and the ability to quickly and easily read and modify existing code.
• Sense of humor.

Salary to $65K commensurate wih experience.
